Al Frescos is an Austin, Texas band nurtured by a fusion of musical styles that range from bluegrass, to country, to blues, to rock n' roll. Their original music seamlessly spans these genres, and their live performances at iconic Austin venues such as the legendary Hole in The Wall (where they’ve had a residency since 2023), are variously punctuated by hard driving electric guitars, acoustic guitars, mandolin, and tight vocal harmonies. Jarrett, Rico, Matt, and John, four close friends, launched Al Frescos in 2017 when they were asked to join a who’s who list of Austin musicians for a school fundraiser. They've been playing together ever since - even during COVID when they temporarily set aside microphones and electric guitars, but continued their weekly rehearsals playing acoustic outdoors.
